The House Hunt

So house hunting has definitely been an experience unlike any other! As much fun as it has been at times - there has most certainly been some stress involved! We were disappointed not to get the first house we put an offer in on, and we did a lot of looking after that. We now have a sale pending on another great house in East Town. While it's not perfect by any means, it's in great shape and has great potential - I'm already excited about decorating and crafting! We had the inspection this week, and are negotiating a few small repairs with the seller. Keep your fingers crossed for us, and hope that all goes through with the house. We can't wait to share our first real home together - and will expect you all to come and visit ASAP! :)

Washington DC Weekend

Travis and I were lucky enough to spend a weekend in Washington DC with our dear friend Tim. We spent time doing the tourist thing - seeing monuments and architecture throughout DC, but also had some of the best times just hanging out on Tim's sun deck and talking about life. We also got to spend half a day with my girlfriend from WMU, Stacy. We're excited for Stacy's wedding in less than two weeks!

Bella

Bella is our four month old Chocolate Lab puppy. She is one part pain in the ass, many parts love of our lives. She's an absolute doll, but a challenge at the same time! We're working on potty training, chew control, and responding to directions. She has brought so much love and growth to our marriage. We love her to pieces.

My Blogging Debut!

I apologize to those blog keepers I have made fun of in the past. Here I am!

Let it be known, though, that this blog is not to be an alternative to a journal, or an outlet to express personal opinion.

This blog is aims to be a way to keep in touch with friends around the world, and to let those folks know what's going on in my life. I don't claim that it will be the most interesting blog in the world... but I will do what I can to make it fun to read!
